MEMORY LEARNING & IMPROVING CONCENTRATION . 

          On 01/08/2018 (Wednesday) I was learning about memory and brain. It conducted by
Puan Rohana Johan . The place at AL-BIRUNI 1.



WHAT IS SKILL? :

MEMORY : 
The ability of the individual to store, retain and cautions information and experience. They have
3 stage of memory :

  1. Sensory Memory refers to the brief storage of sensory information. Sensory memory              is a memory buffer that lasts only very briefly and then, unless it is attended to and passed on              for more processing, is forgotten. The purpose of sensory memory is to give the brain some time       to process the incoming sensations, and to allow us to see the world as an unbroken stream of     events rather than as individual pieces.
  2. Short- Term Memory (STM) Most of the information that gets into sensory memory is    forgotten,   but information that we turn our attention to, with the goal of remembering it, may pass into short-term memoryShort-term memory (STM) is the place where small amounts of   information can be temporarily kept for more than a few seconds but usually for less than               one minute. 
  3. Long-Term Memory (LTM) - refers to the storage of information over an extended period.             It is all the memories you  hold for periods longer than a few second. The information can last            in your long term memory for hours, days, month ore over years. Although you may forget          some information after you learn it, other things will stay with you forever.

  •  USE MOTIVATIONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGIES – Create interest in the work, develop a positive attitude toward your work, use goal setting strategies, use time management.
  •     CREATE A POSITIVE LEARNING MANAGEMENT – Find a better places, reducing multitasking , minimize distraction
  • DEAL WITH INTERNAL DISTRACTION – Deal with personal problem, deal with competing activities
  •    USE ACTIVE LEARNING STRATEGIES
  • MATCH YOUR LEARNING STYLE TO ASK 
  • MONITOR YOUR CONCENTRATION
